Roles & Goals: My position on JMMA for the 2011-2012 school year will be Vice President of Corporate Relations. Basically I will act as the liaison between our student  association and our corporate partners.

More about me: I love to cook and my favorite TV series is most definitely, Mad Men.

Degree and year: Bachelor of Administration – Specializing in Marketing. Intended year of graduation: 2013

Roles & Goals: I am the President of JMMA this year. My role will be to promote JMMA to the JMSB community and to make sure that all the projects that the team will be taking on board are interesting and will bring back to the students. Finally, I will be the voice of the Marketing students at all the board of directors meeting.

More about me: I should have been a young adult in the 90’s. All was better back then, style, movies, music and the dances moves. I’m bringing back the fluo caps and the running man. JMSB watch out!

Roles & Goals: I started off as VP Events of JMMA last year, and had SO MUCH FUN organizing and coordinating all the events! Event planning is definitely a field I’d love to pursue as a career! This year, I’m VP Corporate Relations, I am therefore responsible for establishing and maintaining external relationships with sponsors and/or companies that wish to partner with JMMA.

Through our events, we are in touch with students throughout their degree and thus to cater to all years; first and second year students looking to find out more about marketing as a career, or a third or fourth year students wanting to establish valuable industry relationships to help pursue their dream job.

That is what JMMA wants to put forth this year. We encourage individuality and want students to embrace and promote their uniqueness while we offer the tools to help them market themselves. JMMA consists of a group of devoted students who use their creativity to organize multiple social and academic events to expose each student to professionals of the marketing industry and encourage networking interaction with fellow students as well as with influential people in the business world.

We are motivated to give students the tools to excel in the business world both professionally and socially. Throughout the year, our goal will be to keep all of the students at JMSB aware of the important things that are going on in the Marketing world. Our mission is to innovate and to offer new and improved events that will educate and enlighten our students about the different career branches that Marketing can lead to.

Roles & Goals: My responsibilities as Executive VP of JMMA entail helping the President in her tasks and stand in and fulfill her duties in her absence as well as working alongside the other executives in the planning and execution of projects and events.

More about me: In my first semester, I began as JMMA’s VP of Internal Affairs and First Year Representative in 2010-2011. Student life has enhanced my university experience by tenfold, and simply partaking in one association no longer sufficed. I had a thirst and a drive to take on more. For the 2011-2012 academic year, I return as JMSM’s VP Delegate Coordinator and VP Finance for Concordia’s Stingers’ Club SWARM.

- I’m a die-heart Montreal Canadiens fan
- I have a brown belt in Karate
- I have yet to meet someone with smaller hands than mine

I often will be emailing you job offers, promotions and news about our events (Subscribe Here). Finally, I will be the photographer at our events and the in-house Photoshop nerd.
